Bingo at Lucky Days Bingo Hall

Each month the London Humane Society hosts a Bingo night at Lucky Days Bingo Hall at 539 First Street.  The hall opens at 5 p.m. and mini boards begin at 6:15 p.m. nightly.  We are hosting bingos on the following dates:

§      Nov 7, 2011 (Mon)
§      Dec. 4, 2011 (Sun)
§      Jan. 30, 2012 (Mon)
§      Feb. 15, 2012 (Wed)
§      Mar. 16, 2012 (Fri)

Spring/Summer Special Events FUNdraising Campaign

Each spring & summer, starting during May’s “Be Kind to Animals Week” and ending in August, we look for volunteers to put on their thinking caps and raise funds on behalf of the animals.  The challenge is a creative one.  Campaigning door-to-door not quite right for you? Participants may prefer to approach their friends, relatives or co-workers for monetary support. Email everyone in your Address Book - You will be amazed at how many people you know! 

Want to help by organizing your own fundraiser for the London Humane Society? Ideas for fundraising are only limited by your imagination.

 Create a Toonie Pot and set it up in the staff room
 Organizing a "dress-down" day, a staff BBQ or bake sale
Plan a neighbourhood Garage Sale,Book Sale or Car Wash

Let us know the details and we'll do our best to help promote it!!

Here are 10 ways to Be Kind to Animals:

1. Speak out for animals  
2. Never tolerate animal cruelty
3. Adopt a shelter pet
4. Spay or neuter your pets
5. Keep pets’ vaccinations current
6. Identify your pets with tags
7. Donate to your local animal shelter
8. Appreciate wildlife
9. Leave room for habitats

Christmas Pet Gifts

Our 2011 Christmas Pet Gift fundraising campaign was again a wonderful success, raising over $66,000.00 for the animals in our shelter!

We extend a sincere thank you to all those who participated in the London Humane Society Christmas Pet Gifts fundraising campaign. The support of our community, especially when times are tough, is heartwarming and appreciated.

Your support of this campaign helped provide care for our animals who do not yet have a family of their own. Animals that are unwanted, abused, neglected or abandoned find hope because of people like you – people who care and who act on that concern

A special Thank You goes out to our many hard working and enthusiastic volunteers who help with pet gift production, venue set ups and sales of our products and whose continued support and commitment to our animals helps to ensure that our Christmas Pet Gift fundraiser is a continuing success.

The London Humane Society thanks you for your compassion and for giving hundreds of unfortunate animals a second chance.

Become a Part Of Our Christmas Pet Gift Team
If you would like to volunteer to be a part of this wonderful program, we are always looking for people to:

Help with sewing, particularly if you have a machine
Lend a helping hand out at our work-bees beginning yearly in September
Join our Set up and Tear down teams
Work a sales booth at one or more of our sales venues
